Valentine’s Day, a day where a simple dinner reservation could be made, has turned into a challenging task due to closures and social distancing guidelines.

3. Games

A game night is always fun and exciting to have. Gather up all the favorite board games and just have fun without limitations.

4. Movies or Netflix

Watch your favorite movie. and for a special touch, grab some of your spouse’s favorite childhood snacks. If you guys aren’t movie watchers, head to Netflix for documentaries and binge worthy shows.

5. Make a Snack

Make chocolate covered strawberries together. Get messy and have fun.

6. Paint a Picture

Stream a painting class. There are local paint classes that will allow you to pick up the tools you need beforehand, then stream the class the day of.

Take a bath together. Run a warm bubble bath, throw in some roses and play some relaxing music. We get it, children might stand in the way of you doing some of the more elaborate options on this list, but a bath can be done after bedtime.

Romantic dinner too fancy? Have a simple picnic on the living room (or bedroom) floor, on the deck or in your backyard. Sandwiches, finger fruits, veggies and chocolates make for a yummy picnic date.
