Who doesn’t love a good chocolate chip cookie? Well these are special. Not only are they absolutely delicious, but they are also made with ‘healthier’ ingredients such as organic flour and butter. These are perfect for a weekend treat and a fun way to spend time with the kids. Make these cookies a home-made home-run!
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup of all purpose organic Unbleached Flour
- 2 sticks of organic un-salted butter
- 3/4 cups (GMO free) brown sugar
- 3/4 cup (GMO free) raw cane sugar
- 2 eggs (organic pasture raised large eggs)
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1 tsp of Vanilla Bean paste
- 1 tsp bk soda
- 2 cups of Ghirardelli large semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In stand mixer combine flour, cane sugar, brown sugar, baking soda and salt and mix on low until combined.
3. Add eggs and semi melted butter if not already soften and room temp add eggs and start mixing then add in Vanilla Bean paste.
4. Add chocolate chips and mix on low (until combined you may have to take a spatula to fold them in).
5. Use small ice cream scoop to make same size cookie drops or just spoon them onto a lined cookie sheet.
6. Bake cookies or 8-10 min watch them though if you like cookies softer just under bake them by 1 min or so.
7. Let cool and enjoy! who am I kidding who can wait till cookies cool! 🙂
I have personally tried these cookies and they are so so good. The vanilla bean paste adds a burst of flavor! Can’t wait to try this recipe!
