I’m sure you’ve noticed that our magazine has changed quite a bit. From the layout to the name, we’ve gone through some renovations. I sat down and spoke with our fierce leader, Arian T. Moore to discuss the changes and her new vision for the magazine.
Amanda: A brand new name for the magazine? What prompted the change?
Arian: Well, I’m entering a new phase of motherhood in that all of my children are either in elementary or middle school. I don’t have babies anymore. So, I thought about the name Bibs & Business and the insinuation that it is geared towards women with babies and I wanted to change that.
I want this magazine to target all moms; moms with babies and moms with teens. All moms need resources and support to balance motherhood and career.
Amanda: What does REIMAC mean?
Arian: REIMAC (pronounced Raymac) stands for Reigning Everyday in Motherhood and Career. To reign means to have complete influence over a thing. We can have influence at work and home when we are empowered by our faith.
Amanda: You also changed the layout of the magazine. Tell us about that.
Arian: I wanted a look that complemented the new vision, something that was modern and chic, but also clean and succinct.
Amanda: Do you have new goals for the magazine?
Arian: I want to really dive into the ministry component that this magazine was founded upon. Work-life balance is an important conversation and we always want to share articles on how moms can seek a more balanced life, but we are also a faith-based magazine. I endeavor to share more articles inspiring moms to lean into their faith.
Please go on this new journey with us! Our name has changed but we remain a place of encouragement for working moms!
